Thomas Francis Murray Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Francis Murray announce his passing on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Western Memorial regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 87 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his special friend Cathy Bobowski; daughter: Rosemary (Lindburgh) White, and their children Christopher, Stephen, daughter: Theresa Greene and her son Michael; daughter: Margaret (Randy) Steinsland and their children Terri and Wesley; sons: Paul (Wanda) and their children Dwayne, Neil, Stephanie, and son Michael; great grandchildren: Jeanna, McKenzie, William, Nathan, Colton, Peyton, Brooklyn, Jayden, Noah, and Brayden as well as countless extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Doreen the mother of their children, brothers: John, Frank, and Ray; sisters: Bride and Regina. Survived by brothers: Joe (Priscilla), Tim (Gladys), Gordon (Marjorie), Mike (Norma), Jim (Cathy), Larry (Gladys), Gerard (Chantal); sisters: Ester Kean, Mary Ledwith, Margaret (Reg) Isaacs, Helen (Arthur) Fitzpatrick, and Vera (Rick) Miles. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. O’Driscoll, Dr. Dunn, and Dr. Lafferty, and a very special thank you to the nurses on 4A and Palliative Care Unit who provided wonderful care and comfort during this difficult time. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday, July 27th 7-9 pm, and Thursday, July 28th at 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where funeral service will take place at the Chapel on Friday, July 29th at 11:00 am with Father Andrew White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
