It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rene C. parsons announce his passing at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Saturday January 14, 2017 at the age of 76 years. He was predeceased by his parents harry & Beatrice Parsons. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Shirley Parsons (nee Whalen); son Gary (Esther) of London, Ontario; daughter Kerri of Keswick, Ontario; granddaughter Faith Neil and step grandson Quinn Bloomfield. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander on Sunday January 15, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Gander on Monday January 16, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at the Jehovah’s Witness cemetery, Lumsden. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rene’s memory to the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Gander.
