Paul John Ryan Obituary
Founding member of the legendary Rock and Roll band, The Ravens. He was a fabulous entertainer with an outgoing personality and great sense of humour. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy hospital surrounded by his loving family on January 27, 2017, age 77 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Ryan; brothers Patrick and Dermott.
Leaving to mourn his wife and best friend Linda, the love of his life; daughter Rebecca (Sam), with whom he shared many interests; brother David (Cassandra); special nieces Dana, Kayla and Kelly Ryan; great niece Sydney Bungay (Jordan), also other relatives and friends, including his many friends in the music industry, especially Rocky Wiseman and his swimming buddies from the Mews Centre. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. à 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from St. Patrick’s Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association.
