Mitchell “Mitchy” Dean Berg Obituary check_circle

Lifelong Alaskan resident Mitchell "Mitchy" Dean Berg, 21, died April 8, 2012, at his home in Anchorage, Alaska.

Mitchell was born on October 3, 1990, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Timothy and Sylvia Berg.

Mitchell was a very outgoing person who loved being with his family and friends. He loved playing the drums, going camping and fishing, once catching a 250 lb halibut on his grandfather’s pole. When he was younger he played baseball and once made an unassisted triple play. He had a happy spirit and shared laughs with whomever he was around. Mitchell was a loving son, brother and grandson who will be loved, remembered and missed by all.

Mitchell is survived by his father and mother Tim and Sylvia Berg; brothers Troy Mack, Justin Mack, Kenny Bradley; grandparents Dean and Norma Berg, Ernestina Nasholm, Chuck Hoff and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Chapel at 737 E. Street on Sat. April 14th at 4pm with a celabration of life reception to follow.
