Grace Florine Elkins Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Florine Elkins, 86, of Anniston, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel with the Rev. Scott Blake officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Christian Church Cemetery, 2685 Macedonia Road, Tallassee, AL, with the Rev. David Hooks officiating. The family will receive friends this evening, January 27, 2012, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Elkins passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012, after a brief illness. An Alabama native, Mrs. Elkins was retired from Anniston Army Depot and was a member of Indian Oaks Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Mann. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Mack E. Elkins; daughters, Delores Morgan and husband, John, of Houston, Texas, Ricky Ann Wiegand and husband, Donald, of Montgomery, and Edwina McLeod, of Dahlonega, Ga.; grandchildren, Kathy Washburn, James F. Morgan, Melissa Ann Brown, and Channing McLeod; great-grandchildren, Katie Washburn, Amy Washburn, Callista Morgan, Dawson Morgan, Beth Mackenzie Brown, Gracie McLeod and Benjamin McLeod and several nieces and nephews.
