Louise Barker Lankford Obituary check_circle

Anniston – Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Barker Lankford, 71, of Anniston, will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. Interment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on this evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Lankford passed away on January 16, 2012. Mrs. Lankford was a member of the Anniston Emblem Club #236 since 1972 and served as a state past President of the Emblem Club. Mrs. Lankford is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Robert Randall Lankford and her parents, Edwin and Grace Barker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Mrs. Lankford is survived by her daughters, Betty (Terry) Lankford and Renne (Spencer) Jennings, both of Anniston; her other special gifts from God, Travis Mosteller, Jamie Daniel, Kimberlea Pike, and Vandon Heath; a sister, Jean Encinias of Anniston; aunts and uncles, Lillian Gibbs, Reither Daniel, Guy Daniel, and Ray Daniel; grandchildren, Rebecca Lankford, Samantha Adams, Desiree Lankford, Robert Jennings, Terry Jennings, and Jonathan Jennings; great-grandchildren, Landon Bushard, Kaidy Warren, Rylee Young, Leeland Jennings, and Mattie Sullivan; and nephews, Randy Whaley, Brent Encinias, Jason Encinias, Joey Lankford, and Jason Lankford. Pallbearers will be Brent Encinias, Spencer Jennings, Ronaldo Cunningham, Scott Greenwood, Gary Poe, Jason Encinias, Joey Lankford, and Randy Whaley.
