Betty Jean Heller Obituary check_circle

Betty Jean Heller went to be with her Lord on May 23, 2012. Surrounded by her loving family, she peacefully returned to her maker. Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Russell M. "Skip" Heller; children, Dane Heller, Bruce Heller (late wife, Leigh – grandsons, Grayson and Brice), Kent Heller (grandson, Jarrod) and Maryjean Trosper (husband, Tim and grandsons, Kris, Scott, Matthew and Kevin). She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply and was loved deeply by them. Betty was born to Walter W. and Mary (Morrison) Warwick in Denver, CO on February 6, 1926. She and Skip were married there in 1947, both having the one and only true loves of their lives. Betty started her career as the perfect Air Force wife and mother in El Paso, Texas. Later they were stationed in Denver, CO, Roswell, NM and Lincoln, NE. Betty then waited in Tucson with the family while Skip proceeded with his tour of duty in Vietnam and Thailand. They then moved to Brunssum, Netherlands to finish their career at NATO. During that time, they traveled extensively through most of free Europe, living a rich, exciting and rewarding life. Returning to Tucson in 1972, retirement was a busy and fulfilling time. Betty joined in many local community projects and organizations in Green Valley, AZ. She was a loyal, resourceful and caring asset to all around, always giving till the end in all she did. A Memorial Service is planned for Betty at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Green Valley Baptist Church, 1111 N. La Canada, Green Valley, AZ.
