Neal C. Mirfield Obituary
Neal C. Mirfield, 63, of Randall Road, died peacefully surrounded by his family and friends, after a battle with cancer, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Rivercrest Long Term Care Facility in Concord after an illness. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Coburn and Phyllis A. (Wollenberg) Mirfield. He was the husband of Mary (Lombardo) Mirfield. An avid hunter, he was a member of the Maynard Rod and Gun Club and also enjoyed boating and golf. He had worked for XRE in Littleton for 18 years and was later a self employed small engine repairman. In addition to his wife he leaves a daughter Rebecca Foster and her husband Joe of Maynard; two sons: Jeremiah and his wife Angela of Snow mass, CO and Brendan Mirfield of Carlisle; a brother Dale Mirfield of Bedford and three grandchildren: Kelsey Murphy, Patrick Murphy and Nicholas Foster. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 29 from 4 – 7 PM in the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord St., Maynard. A graveside funeral will be held for the family and friends at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 30 in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Concord.
